Hi Gail,

I’ve been thinking about you since Thanksgiving, because one of the things I am most thankful for is Brickie.  He is such a total sweetheart!  I can’t imagine that there’s ever been a dog with a sweeter, gentler temperament than Brickie.  He has brought so much happiness into my life! 

I kept his hair pretty short during our hot summer months, but now he’s getting nice and fluffy to help him keep warm – it’s definitely winter around here.  We walk every day, and he loves going to the dogpark – gets wildly excited when I ask him if he wants to go, or when I turn onto the road that takes us there.  He is quite a sociable guy, and loves to run & chase.  And, of course, he is a GREAT cuddler.  I enjoy his curiosity so much as well as his intelligence – he’s really got quite a large vocabulary.   

A compliment for you – when I had his teeth cleaned last summer, the vet said his teeth are in excellent condition.  They also comment about how sweet he is – which I hear from the groomer and just about everywhere we go.

I received your card today – thank you, the doodles are so cute.  Merry Christmas to you and Wayne, too, and I hope your New Year is healthy and happy.
