About Whispering Winds Australian Labradoodles

      Gail Widman, Owner/Breeder of Whispering Winds Australian Labradoodles has considerable experience in breeding, previously breeding Old English Sheepdogs and Yorkshire Terriers for many years. 

    We were so smitten by our first Australian Labradoodle, Willie that we knew we would soon increase our Australian Labradoodle family.  Soon, Rutlands Lil Cocoa joined us and we have never regretted one moment with this wonderful breed of dog.

    We research pedigrees, temperaments, body structure, and many other details of the breed when choosing the breeding stock necessary to reach the goals of Whispering Winds Labradoodles:  "To develop the Australian Labradoodle to the finest potential of the breed and to promote the breed through excellence in our breeding program."  The commitment to excellence in breeding the Australian Labradoodle prompted the formation of the Australian Labradoodle Club of America. 

    All of our Australian Labradoodles are multi-generation, bred from parents out of Tegan Park and/or Rutland Manor Research Centers in Australia.

 

About Australian Labradoodle Club of America

The Australian Labradoodle Club of America was formed as a breed club, providing member breeders with the opportunity of networking, education, promotion and development of the Australian Labradoodle breed.  Guidelines are established that breeders must follow regarding the standards in which they conduct business, limiting registration/certification of only the true Australian Labradoodle.  Whispering Winds follows the guidelines as established by the Australian Labradoodle Club of America.  ALCA was founded by Gail Widman, current President. The ALCA is dedicated to the protection of the true Australian Labradoodle so that generations may enjoy this magnificent breed for many years to come.     

 Gail Widman has been breeding the true Australian Labradoodle since 2002.
